Joyce M. Farwell D.M.A. is a singing Voice Specialist and a professor of Music at Rice University in Houston. Dr. Farwell has been training vocal professionals in Houston for many years.

Dr. Joyce Farwell, mezzo soprano, is Professor of Voice at Rice University. Dr. Farwell is a nationally recognized vocal pedagogue and artist. She received her degree from the University of Oklahoma where she studied with Joseph Benton and from the College Conservatory of Music where she worked with Italo Tajo. Dr. Farwell presents master classes throughout the country and is presently working on a pedagogy workbook for young teachers and singers.
